Priscilla Benally and Melvin Chavez Etched Glazed Smaller Pottery Bear w/ Traditional Navajo Design 5 3/4" Tall

Beautiful smaller pottery bear by Navajo artists Priscilla Benally and Melvin Chavez. Their work often features traditional Navajo designs. This bear has a shiny black and terracotta or dark orangish colored glaze. It measures approximately 5 3/4" T x 8" L x 2" W. It is free from any breaks, chips or cracks. The bottom, front foot, is marked "M. Chavez" and "P. Benally". This piece would be a unique and fun piece to add to a bookshelf or display cabinet.
