Beautiful vintage metal/brass Volupte make-up clutch with black strap carrier. This elegant piece is in amazing condition for its age. The only piece missing is the small comb that attaches to the tabs on the top edge of the mirror. The original advertisements for these cases described them as a "Sophisticase". This was originally sold in the 1950s and 1960s. It has compartments for your change, lipstick, small comb and cigarettes. The cigarette compartment could be used to fold and store cash, or even condoms ;). We cleaned the original powder make-up applicator and cover by soaking it in Dr. Bronner's. We also cleaned the case using mild soap and warm water.
