Beautiful framed original painting by PNW artist, Maria M Lak. There is information on the backside of the painting, from a fundraiser event held at the Officers Club in Ft Lewis Washington on 2/27/1981. Based on our research, Maria was a painter who had a studio in Leavenworth, WA. She was born Dec. 31st, 1929, and passed away May 5th, 2023. It measures approximately 10 3/4" T x 8 3/4" W x 1 1/4 D. This measurement includes the gold frame. The actual exposed painted area measures approximately 6 1/2" T x 4 1/2" W. The frame has some minor chipping, exposing white underneath the gold paint, but we don't really notice it. Please see image provided of the chipping.
